Several different types of live events may use the Quantum Optics HolophotoTM Process effectively. They are:
- Concerts,
- Stage Plays and Musicals,
- Political Conventions
- Sporting Events, and
- Combinations of Live Action and Motion Pictures.
Concerts, Political Conventions, and Sporting Events – Currently large TV screens are used so that viewers who are far away from the action can see what is going on, up close. They can also see “instant replays.” These screens can be replaced with HolophotoTM Screens. The action will be seen as though they’re watching it live.
Stage Plays and Musicals – are often broadcast to remote locations. For example, the New York Metropolitan Opera often broadcasts live performances to theaters that display them on large high-definition screens. However, if the broadcast were holographic, it would be as though the audience were actually present at the live performance.
Combinations of Live Action and Moving Pictures – A theatrical performance is possible which would allow live actors to interact with an audience. A special movie could be made that includes having members of the cast move about the audience section of the theater, and speak to or even touch viewers..
Theme Park Rides
The theme park industry is very profitable. Operators of these parks strive to make rides as realistic as possible. Spectators are surrounded with movie screens showing scenes that astound and scare them. Attempts at 3-D “virtual reality” rides where spectators wear special glasses have not been extremely successful. However, the Quantum Optics HolophotoTM Process makes true “virtual reality” possible
